Where It All Started
On my grandparents 30 acres in East Texas, my grandma placed her camera in my hands and through a string of terrible pictures of butterflies and flowers, I learned about composition. A little later in the art studio above the garage, my grandpa, an illustrator and art professor taught me about rendering and how to see the world through the lense of possible creativity.
Years later, that early spark led me to earn a degree in Visual Communications from East Texas State University. If you want a glimpse of the work I did while there, look here. When I'm not working on design, I enjoy reading or watching Westerns, going camping and hiking with my camera close by to capture the momemts along the way.
